Je stapt uit de trein op station Dronten en zodra je de perrons afloopt valt je blik meteen op een imposant gebouw dat zich uitstrekt langs het Koning Willem-Alexanderplein. Het is De Kroon van Dronten die de skyline domineert met zijn stevige rode bakstenen en robuuste uitstraling. Vier blokken met in totaal 125 woningen, een polikliniek en winkels – het is niet zomaar een gebouw, maar een levendig, multifunctioneel complex. Een nieuwe spil in de stad van Dronten.

Ontwikkeling Dronten

1966 – 2023

In de jonge geschiedenis is de locatie aan het KWA plein altijd nog een lege plek geweest in afwachting van een goede invulling. Een centrale plek tussen het hart van Dronten en de aansluiting met de treinverbinding

Op de begane grond, in de plint van het gebouw, bevindt zich een levendig horecapunt. Een plek waar bewoners en bezoekers elkaar ontmoeten en samenkomen voor een kop koffie of lunch.

Aan de Ottodreef, naast en boven de onderdoorgang, bevindt zich een woonzorgcomplex van Coloriet. Deze zorgstudio’s, voorzien van gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, bieden een veilige en comfortabele woonomgeving voor mensen die zorg nodig hebben. Het complex is ontworpen met aandacht voor zowel privacy als sociaal contact.

Studio’s

Aan de noordzijde zijn koopstudio’s voor starters gerealiseerd. Dit biedt voor jongeren een unieke kans om op een laagdrempelige manier de koopmarkt in te stromen. De gezamenlijke entree bevordert het gemeenschapsgevoel, terwijl elk appartement voorzien is van een Frans- of een regulier balkon.

Langs de Ottodreef vind je grondgebonden koopwoningen. Deze woningen hebben een eigen parkeergelegenheid op het binnenterrein en zijn flexibel in te richten: de begane grond kan zowel als woonruimte of als bedrijfsruimte aan huis worden gebruikt. Op de eerste verdieping bevinden zich ruime leefruimtes met grote balkons aan de achterzijde, terwijl de tweede verdieping slaapvertrekken biedt.

Op de hoek van de Noord en Ottodreef vind je ruimere, luxueuze appartementen met grote buitenruimtes. Deze woningen bieden extra comfort en privacy en zijn perfect voor bewoners die op zoek zijn naar een hoger niveau van woonkwaliteit met alle gemakken van het stadsleven.
